Workforce issues continue to be a challenge to the utility industry today and it does not look like they are going away any time soon. Predictions that much of the industry’s talent and experience will be eligible to retire within the next five years are not myths but realities. At the same time, the pool of young talent coming into the industry may not be sufficient to replace this aging workforce. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?
